RETURNS POLICY OF WWW.MYCOSTUME.IE
It is our aim to provide a stress free returns policy that is in accordance with the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts Made by Means of Distance Communication) Regulations, 2001 (SI 207/2001).
If for some reason you wish to return an item(s) to us, you may let us know within 7 days of your intent to return the item(s), through our "contact us "page and we will be happy to provide a full refund. We request that once you have notified us, you return the items to us within a further 5 days. We will always aim to process your refund immediately upon receipt of the goods, and always within 30 days. If you wish to return an item to us and the 7 days since delivery has passed, we may be able to offer an exchange or credit note for your order, less postage, up to a maximum of 30 days after receipt.
We will provide a full refund, including postage, for standard orders returned in accordance with our policy. For guaranteed (express, next day and premium next day delivery) orders, we will provide a full refund less postage costs. This is in keeping with the above Regulations.
Also in accordance with the above Regulations, you are required to return the unwanted items to us at your own cost, and you must take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession, also ensuring that they are delivered back to us in a safe way.
Where possible all original packaging is to be returned with your order. If we do not receive the goods back in an acceptable condition, or within a reasonable amount of time, we reserve the right to place a claim for breach of contract under the above Distance Selling Regulations which may affect your right to a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Certain items are excluded from our returns policy for health reasons, and we reserve the right to not process a refund for items which are unsealed, of the following categories: Wigs, Fangs, Fake Teeth, Tights, Contact lenses, Eyelashes, Caps, Moustaches, Facial hair and Mankini’s.
Please note that our policy does not effect or infringe upon the customers statutory rights.
